Karen R. Johnston, Discover Wonder

Karen enjoys building effective teams, and helping individuals grow by discovering their own strengths. In 2022 Karen began working with Nathan and is integrating the Customized Coaching process into her own experiences nurturing growth through science, education, and theater.

Experience

Karen has a proven ability to combine vision, problem solving, and project management skills to grow programs, build effective teams, and draw out talent. She has directed 25 high school theater productions, crafting a program focused on student growth and discovery. She has taught STEAM at all levels, developing curricula aimed at helping students with learning differences discover their own strengths through science. She also records audiobooks from her home studio, teaches the physics of flight at an indoor skydiving center, and once managed a science lab. Her combination of fun and entrepreneurial pursuits will inspire anyone!

CREDENTIALS

Karen is a Certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching’s ICF Level 2 accredited program. She is a graduate of Eastern University where she studied Biology and of Arcadia University where she earned an MA in Education.
